TMS Turns 35
Today is 35 years since TMS started in business, and a lot has changed during this time – and here are some interesting facts about 1987: – A pint of beer was 86p, a Bottle of Whiskey was £7.29 and a Sinclair Spectrum Home Computer was £169.00.
The Channel Tunnel construction began, Margaret Thatcher was voted into a 3rd Term and John McEnroe fined $17,500 for ranting at Officials. Obviously, the most important fact is that the very first wobbly wheel was fixed by TMS, and for the first time ever in Humanity, a Trolley would go where it was pushed!
